The Brown+Horner phone survey showed fewer children, on average, in smaller homes.
The following figures show these results, for information, although the Committee voted
not to recommend an adjustment by size of home, to keep the approach simple.
The average number of children per home rose fairly uniformly up to 1750 square feet.
Around 1750 square feet, the number of children per home reached a plateau, and did not
continue to increase with even larger homes.
Therefore the figures below are broken into
two sections, below and above 1750 square feet. This approach shows that costs can
rise per square foot, as calculated in the first group of numbers, until costs reach a ceiling,
as calculated in the second group of numbers.
Since the final single family data above, from Tischler, is			32%
lower than Brown+Horner, the students per square foot and per home below are
reduced by the same percent, for consistency
